Avenue out of school club runs a holiday play scheme during each of the school holidays, including half term holidays, summer holidays and INSET days. The play scheme operates in the same premises as morning and after school club and is staffed by regular club staff making the holiday provision friendly and familiar to children attending after school club. We also warmly welcome other schools to attend our play-schemes.  Children aged 4-12 are able to attend holiday club.

Credit unions are financial co-operatives owned and controlled by their members. They offer savings and great value loans plus they are local, ethical and know what their members want. Each credit union has a "Common Bond" which determines who can become a member of the credit union. The common bond for Bedford Credit Union relates to people living or working in the area. The members save regularly and create a fund to make loans to each other. The Credit Union offers a basic financial service to its members.

The Billericay Parents Forum offers support to local families. The organisation is run solely by parents, but works in close partnership with local schools, health and other professionals and many other organisations in the area.

They have been successfully running courses and drop-in sessions for parents since 2002 and over 1000 parents have attended our 100+ courses. The courses are highly thought of by both parents and professionals alike and are unique in that they are run for parents by parents.
